I really like movies where people suddenly break into song. Even though these performances don’t show how we usually live, they might not be entirely made up. There’s this guy, Emilio, who plays the piano in public places like airports and shares videos on TikTok.
In one video, a lady asks him to play “Dance Monkey” by Tones and I. Emilio happily agrees and attracts a bunch of people with his awesome music. Then, from far away, a guy with a saxophone shows up. He goes down an escalator while playing along with Emilio. It surprises the pianist for a moment, but he gets back on track.
Even if this performance was a little planned, the real reactions of joy and surprise from the people watching are genuine. Their excitement is catchy!
