A touching video went viral of a dad and son tearing up while holding their miracle baby, Giovanna. Thankfully, they caught this sweet moment on camera!
When the dad and son held their newborn daughter/sister for the first time, they were overwhelmed with emotion. The journey to this moment wasn’t easy. The story, shared on Instagram, tells us that João Prudencio Neto of Brazil and his wife, Karolinne, thought they couldn’t have more kids after João became infertile following the birth of their first child, David.
Despite the odds, João kept praying for healing so they could give David a sibling. Instead of going for medical help, they turned to prayer, asking Jesus every day to heal João and bless them with another child. All those prayers paid off, and their miracle baby, Giovanna, arrived.
The day Giovanna was born was a joyous occasion for the whole family, captured in the tearful video of the father and son holding her for the first time. João shared on Instagram, “Giovanna’s birth is not only a blessing for our family but also for all those who dream of one day living the miracle that only Jesus can do.”
João didn’t get his prayers answered overnight. He spent a long time praying for the healing he received, leading to this special moment between a father and son and newborn Giovanna. He also shared a Bible verse in his post: “I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined to me, and heard my cry.” (Psalm 40:1)
