Few musicians have attained the revered status that the renowned Bruce Springsteen, 74, holds. Not only is he captivating and gifted, but he has also adeptly cultivated a career as both a solo performer and as part of the “E Street Band.”
Springsteen burst onto the international music scene with the folk-rock album “Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.” in 1973. Since then, he has unveiled a series of albums, featuring popular tracks like “The River,” “Born to Run,” and “Nebraska.”
His most remarkable commercial triumph came with “Born in the U.S.A,” which remains Springsteen’s highest-selling album, having sold approximately 30 million copies.
Disheartening news recently reverberated among Springsteen fans. Bruce Springsteen, 74, and his “E Street Band” postponed all planned concerts for September due to illness, as reported by NTB.
The decision to delay the concerts was made by Bruce Springsteen’s medical team. Springsteen necessitates treatment for stomach ulcers and consequently is rescheduling all upcoming concerts.
“We are heartbroken to have to postpone these concerts. We first and foremost apologize to our incredible fans in Philly whom we missed a few weeks ago. We will return to compensate for these concerts, and more,” stated Springsteen in a release, adding:
“Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve had an incredible time at our U.S. concerts, and we eagerly anticipate more memorable moments. We will return soon,” Springsteen affirmed.
Altogether, the rock luminary has sold over 65 million albums in the U.S. and 200 million worldwide. He has been honored with numerous awards, including twenty Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, and one Oscar.
