VIDEO: Wild Moose Goes on a Hospital “Rampage” in Alaska – See How Staff Managed to Stop It!

A moose walked into Providence Alaska Health Park’s cancer center in Anchorage last Thursday, in search of a snack from the surrounding foliage. Despite the motion-activated door, the animal was able to enter the building. The security staff alerted visitors, patients, and staff that a moose was inside, but people were more curious than afraid, and some came to see the animal. However, the hospital staff managed to keep the moose away from causing any damage beyond the plants in the lobby. The moose was not the first animal to enter the hospital, as bears have also tried to do so in the past.

Providence Alaska Health Park, in a post on Facebook, referred to the moose as an “extra-special visitor” and shared a video of the final stages of the moose’s visit. The hospital’s director of security, Randy Hughes, stated that the animal eventually had enough of being watched while eating and moved away from the area.
