Scott and Pam Martin, the owners of a quaint ice cream shop and mini golf course in Holden Beach, North Carolina, welcomed a new, furry member into their family in summer, 2016. Meet Putter, an adorable and tiny squirrel who quickly became the shop’s beloved mascot.
Putter’s story began in summer 2016, when she first appeared at the Martin’s shop, showing an immense love for their vanilla ice cream. Her frequent visits soon caught the attention of Scott and Pam, who began to feed her small portions of ice cream to keep her coming back. They named her Putter and quickly became attached to the friendly and energetic little creature.
Since then, Putter became a fixture of the shop, showing up nearly every day for her favorite treat. The Martins even started to make individual squirrel-sized ice cream cones just for her. As Putter’s fame grew, the customers of the shop also began to take notice and started to ask about the furry little friend.
Despite her small size, Putter has made a big impact on the Martin’s lives and the community around them. Her love for vanilla ice cream and her playful nature have brought joy to the Martins, their customers, and anyone lucky enough to encounter her.
