Keith Urban shares the stage with a young fan whose live performance left the audience speechless…

For many years, Keith Urban has been producing music. Additionally, he has collaborated with some of the top musicians. So, yeah, he could determine if someone had what it took to succeed in the music industry.

Keith Lionel Urban, one of the most successful country music performers in the world, was born in Whangarei, New Zealand parents Bob and Marienne. Urban’s family relocated to Queensland, Australia, when he was just 2 years old, and a few years later he first showed signs of musical interest.

His parents encouraged his early artistic endeavors and even allowed him to pick up a guitar and ukulele when he was just 6 years old. Notably, his father, who at the time ran a convenience store, put up a sign asking the community to help him find a guitar teacher.

After learning the ins and outs of the instrument, Urban entered regional singing contests and even joined the community theatrical group.

In the end, Urban succeeded in breaking into the Australian music industry. He released his debut record in 1990, and after backing up Australian music legend Slim Dusty, he traveled to Nashville and eventually appeared at the Grand Ole Opry.

Curiously, his love for singing country music is a reflection of his parents’ inclinations, who encouraged him to pursue music when he was a little child. The Ranch, an Australian-American trio Urban founded in an effort to push himself even harder, finally broke up after only releasing one album.

His debut self-titled American album, which was released in 1999 and went platinum, gave rise to Urban’s first No. 1 song on the Billboard Country charts. He subsequently started his solo music career.

Since his arrival in Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1990s, Urban has been making ripples on a global scale. Along with being adored for his music, he has also established himself as a kind and generous person who always seems to have a smile on his face, which has further increased his popularity with his admirers.

In addition to having a successful singing career, Urban is married to legendary actress Nicole Kidman, making them one of the most adored Australian couples in Hollywood.

The two fell in love at G’Day LA, a celebration of Australians residing in Los Angeles. A few years after Kidman and her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, divorced, they started dating. Urban and Kidman got hitched in Sydney, Australia, where they now call home. They also live in Nashville, Tennessee, New York City, and Los Angeles.

But when he sees someone in person, Urban can tell right away if they have talent. It’s correct, and proof of that came from Urban’s interaction with two young fans at a 2016 concert in Canada. The country music performer was having a fantastic night in Edmonton, Canada, when he noticed two glittering signs in the shape of guitars in the center of the crowd.

Therefore, Urban welcomed the two sign holders to the stage. He wasn’t expecting to see two little girls, though. However, they were actually sisters who became close at a Keith Urban concert rather than just pals.

Yes, they had the good fortune to interact with Urban personally and perform with him. However, that wasn’t the highlight of the evening. Hailey Benedict, one of the siblings, was questioned by Urban about her career goals. Of course, her response delighted Urban since he is one himself—a singer-songwriter.

Urban continued by telling the mother of the two girls that he supports them, appearing to be proud of Benedict’s lifelong ambition. “Mom, I’ll support a singer-songwriter for that!” City said.

Naturally, Urban questioned the young girl if she had ever tried writing her own music before allowing them to leave the stage. Soon after she responded in the affirmative, Urban inquired as to her guitar playing skills. Urban replied “sure” and instructed the crew to bring a guitar on stage for the woman.

In fact, Benedict was already a star in the making when she sang her own song, “Clean Slate,” live on stage. She did not let the audience down. She actually gave off the impression of being a pro on stage, as if she had been doing it for a while.

After Benedict concluded her performance, Urban gave her a bear embrace. He posted the footage of the young girl’s performance on Facebook and YouTube because he was so incredibly proud of her.

Fans of Urban are all too aware that what he did that evening wasn’t something new because he had already carried out a similar action in the past. You see, Urban wants to share the spotlight with his fans as well as have it all to himself.

Benedict is currently a recognized recording artist. She stated on Facebook:

“I just finished two incredible days of recording my brand-new track, ‘Clean Slate.’ (I sang this song at the Keith Urban performance.) She commented at the time, “It has been such a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to share it with you all. ”

Since then, Benedict has put out a ton of hits, including “Wanted You To.”
