We are all interested to see what these outstanding actors have done after the end of Game of Thrones, regardless of which characters we backed.
See what your favorite actors have been doing since the show’s finale.
Maisie Williams
Since it was only her acting debut, Maisie Williams became a fan favorite on our screens as Arya Stark. Maisie, who is in her 20s, has contributed to numerous additional endeavors. She most recently appeared in the FX series Pistol as Jordan, a punk pioneer who styled the British band the Sex Pistols and Vivienne Westwood’s muse.
Sophie Turner
In the series, Sophie Turner’s portrayal as Sansa Stark marked the beginning of her acting career. Since the end of the show, she has been incredibly busy. She married Joe Jonas in 2019 and gave birth to their daughter the following year. She entered the X-Men franchise professionally, playing Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix.
Kit Harington
Before landing the part of Jon Snow in the series, Kit Harington had a successful acting career. He married Rose Leslie, whom he met while watching Game of Thrones, after the program concluded, and they have a child together. He has been acting as well, playing Michael in the romance, love, and human connection drama series Modern Love.
Peter Dinklage
For his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister, Peter Dinklage received a Golden Globe and an Emmy award. And he most recently had the opportunity to showcase his acting and singing talents in the Cyrano main role. In the movie, a shy man helps another man win a woman by writing love letters because he is too shy to try it himself.
Gwendoline Christie
Game of Thrones was followed by Gwendoline Christie’s appearance on stage. At the Bridge Theatre in London, she played Titania in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She played a minor role in The Personal History of David Copperfield and has a ton of upcoming projects, including a role in the Wednesday Addams Netflix series.
Emilia Clarke
Both during and after her tenure on Game of Thrones, The Mother of Dragons herself rose to fame in the film industry. Her most recent projects include Last Christmas, an Emma Thompson-written movie about a lady who learns the true meaning of generosity.
Lena Headey
Since she last hung up Cersei Lannister’s robes, Lena Headey has been very busy. She has found the time to appear in numerous other TV shows! Additionally, she recently portrayed Scarlet in the suspenseful movie Gunpowder Milkshake.
Natalie Dormer
Margaery Tyrell has been far behind Natalie Dormer in her most recent job. She has substituted 1930s Los Angeles for Westeros in the fantasy crime thriller Penny Dreadful: City of Angels as Alex.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Starting off as an antihero, Jaime Lannister gradually gained the reputation of a hero. Even Nikolaj has been assuming new roles. He recently co-wrote the screenplay for the film Against the Ice in addition to acting in it. He had to brush off his heroism for the part as well because it is about two explorers who are abandoned in ice-covered Greenland and must struggle to survive.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster
Although Thomas Brodie-Sangster is still best known to us for playing the endearing young child Sam in the well-known British rom-com Love Actually, he is also easily recognized as Jojen Reed. Since then, he has astounded us in the massively popular series The Queen’s Gambit as chess champion Benny Watts. And when he played band manager Malcolm McLaren in Pistol, he even reconnected with Maisie Williams, a fellow Game of Thrones veteran.
Nathalie Emmanuel
Since leaving Westeros, Missandei, a character from Game of Thrones, has been developing a successful career. In the Hulu adaption of the romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral, she played the lead role of Maya. She joined the Fast & Furious franchise as well, and she has a ton of additional projects in the works.
Isaac Hempstead Wright
When he first began acting, Isaac Hempstead Wright was only 11 years old, and he and Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner are still close friends. After Game of Thrones, he had a brief vacation from acting, but he made a comeback in the 2021 sci-fi thriller Voyagers, which is about a group of astronauts.
Alfie Allen
Since the series’ conclusion, Alfie Allen has also kept himself very occupied. From the true-crime series White House Farm to his part in the British comedy film How to Build a Girl about a youngster who develops into a music journalist, he has a wide range of credits.
Jack Gleeson
When Game of Thrones was over, Jack Gleeson declared he had no further acting plans. He actually desired to pursue education and a PhD. Fortunately for all of his fans, this hasn’t exactly been the case, since he has subsequently had a number of parts, including one in the comedy Rebecca’s Boyfriend.
