This man makes useful videos for children who don’t have a father… The reason behind his intentions is heart-melting…

Rob Kenney, a father of two, has gained attention for the educational videos he broadcasts on his YouTube channel for children who are growing up without father figures. He accomplishes this by recording himself doing routine things that you would often ask your father for assistance with, such as how to iron a dress shirt, replace a tire, shave, and more.

Kenney had a difficult childhood growing up. After his parent’s divorce, his father was granted custody of the eight children. When Kenney’s father met another lady and said he was “done raising kids,” he left them all behind.

Despite this, Kenney went on to succeed in life, finding employment in sales and beginning a lovely family of his own. As Kenney’s daughter Kristine Ponten put it, “I really think he was put on Earth to be a dad.”

The Bellevue, Washington resident so thought it only fair to post recordings of himself carrying out typical activities for anyone who might need some guidance from a fatherly figure. In April 2020, Kenney’s channel finally launched, and it has been successful ever since. When a Reddit member wrote about Kenney on the r/Adulting thread, Kenney’s YouTube channel received even more traction, rapidly increasing his subscriber base.

Anyone seeking additional advice on how to fix a home appliance or even prepare cinnamon rolls now knows exactly who to contact.

Kenney walks viewers through the chores step-by-step in his films so they are simple to follow and comprehend. What makes them even better is the dad jokes that he would include here and there. In his opening paragraph of “How to Fix Most Running Toilets,” Kenney described how his daughter had called him to complain that her toilet “won’t stop running.” He jokingly said, “I thought for a moment, it can’t be so fast, why don’t you catch it?”

Kenney was initially surprised by the sheer volume of viewers on his channel. He said that it was “terrifying.”I initially didn’t think it was a good thing. It pains my heart that so many people require my channel,” he continued.
