In an interview, Sharon Stone discussed her views on aging organically and how a younger man she formerly dated enquired about her usage of Botox. Shortly after that, the relationship terminated.
Stone talked about dating the younger man and how their relationship changed when he inquired about her use of Botox.
She recalled telling him that while doing so would undoubtedly raise their egos in equal measure, it wasn’t in the cards for her. Shortly after, the couple broke up, but Stone didn’t let it bother her because she didn’t want to be with someone who simply appreciated her looks.
Stone told the magazine, “I met him one more time after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore.” Please make your way to the exit if I’m not around for more than that.
The “Basic Instinct” star has decided against using injectables to slow down the aging process for a good reason. Although she acknowledges using drugs in her younger years, she has effectively ruled them out.
Her opinion of Botox and other injectables has changed as a result of a negative encounter with Botox that resulted in health issues.
“I had a massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage, and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,” she said. “There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, but then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage.”
The health scare she experienced with injectables and the necessity of using them during her rehabilitation journey altered her perspective on them. They transformed from a “cute luxury” to “some sort of enormous, excruciating neurological demand.”
Stone now chooses to embrace her physical image as it is, as shown by an earlier this summer Instagram photo in which she stood topless by a pool.
The 64-year-old actress said, “I uploaded that because I feel like women become invisible after we become moms, and you’re 45 and people walk by you like you’re not there.”
She and her companions took turns shooting pictures of one another and encouraging one another to feel good about themselves during the pleasant day when the photo was shot.
Because “life doesn’t always make you feel like a winner as you grow older,” Stone said she and her pals have a commitment to always work to boost each other’s self-esteem.
