In July 2021, Amber Heard said that she had discreetly given birth to a girl named Oonagh Paige using a surrogate. She insisted that she was “the mom and dad” of the child.
Friends stated that Oonagh was delivered on April 8 thanks to a surrogate after Heard was informed she would never be able to carry her own child.
Heard uploaded a picture of herself holding the baby on Instagram to confirm the news. She has never revealed who donated the sperm or who the child’s father is.
“I can’t wait to tell you this news. I made the decision to become a mother four years ago. I wanted to do it my way,” she stated in her letter.

“I hope we get to the moment where not wanting a ring in order to have a crib is normalized.”
“A part of me wants to maintain that my private life is none of anyone’s business,” she continued. I understand that the nature of my profession requires me to take charge of this as well.

Heard was once linked to filmmaker Bianca Butti, with whom she had been dating since January 2020, following her acrimonious divorce from Johnny Depp. However, Heard decided to become a mother on her own some time ago and is reportedly “glad” to be Oonagh’s sole legal mom.
There have been raging rumors that Elon Musk may be the child’s father in secret and have donated sperm.
Prior to their breakup in August 2017, Heard dated the Tesla CEO for a full year. The couple decided to attempt their relationship again later that year after spending four months apart. They permanently sever their ties in February 2018.
Requests for comment regarding the father of the child were not answered by a Heard representative. Musk didn’t reply to our message.
After the baby was born, a source exclusively revealed to Page Six that Heard is “beyond in love” with her daughter, whom she named Paige after her late mother.
She lost her own mother in May 2020 at the age of 63, and she described herself as being “heartbroken and saddened beyond comprehension” at the time of the loss. This makes the birth all the more tragic.
It’s difficult to imagine and even harder to explain, but I feel really lucky to have been her daughter and been given the opportunity of having the light she shed on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years, she said in an Instagram post, calling her mother Paige “the most beautiful lady I had ever known.”
Later in July 2021, Heard posted a sweet image of Oonagh using a laptop alongside her and referring to her as “the boss.”

Heard has posted footage of her and her kid spending their lives together on Instagram since breaking the news. They have been residing in London, where Heard has been seen stroller-pulling the adorable infant.
Heard marked her daughter’s first birthday on April 8, 2022. “My little O turns a year old today,” she wrote. I’m still in disbelief that you are here. The most amazing year.
Heard has also posted photos of herself holding her kid while exercising, giving the impression that the two are inseparable.
