James Corden could no longer hold tears when Paul McCartney revealed the story of behind a very popular Beatles song…

James Corden, a well-known actor and television host, typically creates a cheerful, optimistic, and humorous atmosphere for his programs. His most recent performance alongside Paul McCartney, a member of the Beatles, was somewhat different. When McCartney disclosed the source of the song’s inspiration, Let It Be, Corden couldn’t help but cry, displaying a vulnerable side rarely seen on his program.

The two celebrities rode through Liverpool, exploring McCartney’s former hangouts and discussing his time with the Beatles. When the song Let It Be began to play in the car, McCartney took the opportunity to explain how he came up with the lyrics and the song’s name.

In a dream, his mother appeared to him and assured him that everything would be alright and life would carry on as usual. She also advised him to simply let things be.
Paul vividly recalled what she had said, and it gave him the idea for one of the best Beatles songs ever. You can see Corden’s eyes filling with emotions as they paused for a few minute and he told McCartney that it was the most wonderful story he had ever heard.

The reason Corden broke down in tears, he revealed, was because his most important memory of his late grandfather was the Beatles song Let It Be. He sat him down one day to talk to him about motivation because his grandfather was also a musician. He informed Corden that he would play him Let It Be, the greatest song he had ever heard.

The two began singing duets of songs like Penny Lane, Drive My Car, and many more as the atmosphere slowly turned happier. At one of McCartney’s favorite bars, the duo performed favorites like Hey, Jude for fans as part of an impromptu show. Everyone will appreciate and remember this afternoon forever.
