Carlos Santana, 75, has recently experienced a few health setbacks. Fans were surprised lately when the musician passed out from severe dehydration. The musician, though, is a force to be reckoned with and is about to take to the road.
One of the greatest guitarists of all time, Carlos Santana, is still active today. He is still performing at the age of 75 and still knows how to engage an audience.
His career began in the late 1960s, and in the early 1970s, he achieved popularity. The musician has been steady over the years, and in 2019 he even published his most recent album, titled Africa Speaks. The Miraculous Supernatural tour by his band Santana will begin in 2022.
The guitarist and Cindy Blackman are wed. an on-tour drummer he met. The Hartt School of Music and the Berklee College of Music are where Blackman began her musical career. When she got a job playing with Lenny Kravits, which she did for 18 years, her career as a drummer took off.
Santana met Blackman while touring, and he was so taken with her that he got down on one knee and proposed to her on stage in July 2010.
The band’s union was consummated quickly. At the Ritz-Carlton on Maui in December 2010, Santana and Blackman exchanged vows.
At the wedding, the guitarist made a touching speech about his new wife. Santana expressed his happiest mood ever as he said:
“Cindy matches everything about me, from my desire to my sensitivity…
When you eat with your soul partner, everything tastes better.”
Surprising heart surgery was performed on Carlos Santana. The performer had to postpone his appearances at the Mandalay Bay Resort while he recovered.
Santana decided to explain the rationale for the sudden cancellation of seven shows in total when fans expressed concern about musicians postponing their shows.
“Last Saturday, I had an event where I begged my wife, Cindy, to drive me to the hospital because I had this thing occurring in my chest,” Sanatana said in a video that was shared on Twitter.
The chest pains were worse than anticipated when Santana and Blackman arrived at the hospital. The guitarist needed surgery and needed to take some time off to heal.
The president of Universal Tone Management, Michael Vrionis, reassured the public by making the following remarks:
“Carlos is doing great and is eager to return to the stage shortly. He deeply regrets having to postpone his next performances due to this “speed bump.”
Sanatana has been selling some of his land in the midst of his health problems. The musician let go of one of his two properties in Hawaii, when he sold the house he had there.
On the island of Kauai, the four-bedroom house was purchased for a staggering $11.9 million. The vacation property looks out over the waves of Anini Beach and has a contemporary resort style.
Santana’s residence in San Diego was the second property he sold. The picturesque Tiburon Peninsula home brought in a profit of roughly $430,000 when it was sold for $5.53 million. Santana attaches great significance to the location. The artist and his family first resided in San Diego after leaving Mexico.
His first home is where the Santana Blues Band, better known as Santana, was established. Santana has maintained his residence in Las Vegas, where he has spent the majority of the last nine years.
Since his band House of Blues tenure in Las Vegas has been extended, Santana has kept his Las Vegas residence and will remain there.
He may work in Las Vegas, though, as the Grammy-winning musician recently purchased a second $8 million holiday house in Hawaii.
The fact that Santana added a mansion in Princeville, Hawaii, worth $20 million to his possessions suggests that the artist has a strong connection to Hawaii.
Hawaii appears to be Santana’s ideal getaway, despite the fact that he sold his San Diego home.
On Tuesday, July 5, Santana surprised his audience when he passed out during a performance in Detroit. The guitarist, according to his wife, was severely dehydrated and exhausted because he neglected to eat and drink.
He may work in Las Vegas, as the Grammy-winning musician recently purchased a second $8 million holiday property in Hawaii.
Santana took to Facebook to express his gratitude to his followers for their understanding and support after videos of him being carried off the stage on a stretcher went viral. He specifically mentioned how well-adjusted he and his wife Blackman were.
Blackman, Santana’s wife of twelve years, provided an update and explained the cause of his collapse. She stated
There wasn’t enough water and it was 100 degrees on stage and 114 under the lights, which is what caused the problem.
The drummer, however, also thanked the crowd for their support and assured them that he will soon be well enough to perform again.
This breakdown follows a string of health problems that Santana experienced. The singer had unanticipated cardiac issues that required surgery, and the infection COVID-19 prompted him to postpone additional performances.
Unfortunately, this manager also stated that he was “doing well.” Santana does not allow anything stop him; in August, he will resume his regular schedule and attend all of his shows.
