Annie described in full her wonderful visit to Heaven and recalled that a “guy in white” was present in the swimming pool.
The Powell family was having fun in the sun in a pool in the summer of 2018 when their nightmare began.
Pastor Dave Powell eventually noticed a man exiting the river while carrying a girl in his arms. The girl clearly needed medical attention.
I saw a man carrying a young girl out, who was just drooping over his arms. And he was requesting assistance. “Help me!” he cried. Please help!” Dave stated.
The man and his wife, Cathy, soon recognized that the girl was in fact Annie, their daughter, who is 9 years old.
While an ambulance was being summoned to the scene, the lifeguard reached the girl who was drowning and began giving CPR.
During the CPR, Cathy remembered, “I saw that Annie was blue from her chest up, and her eyes were rolled back in her head. She appeared to be lifeless. She was also my young daughter. She was just nine. And because I was feeling so helpless, I prayed to God, telling him not to take her. “Let her return.”
After being given oxygen, the girl was taken to a neighboring hospital as soon as the ambulance arrived.
Her parents had by this time understood how grave the situation was. The physicians were trying to save the life of their young daughter who had drowned while she was still breathing.
A different hospital had to be contacted in order to transport the girl, who had experienced cardiac arrest and respiratory failure, and ensure that she received the proper care.
The realization that she is not completely fine, although breathing, “clicked” at that point. Furthermore, I was curious as to what was happening. Additionally, her father asked if she would ever be the same.
Doctors were trying everything they could to rescue the girl when Annie’s loved ones and church members began to pray for her.
The Powells’ local church set aside time for Annie’s prayers the next day. The girl’s parents were appreciative of their community’s outpouring of support and maintained their belief in their daughter’s speedy recovery.
The next day, doctors informed Annie’s parents that she would be okay as her blood and oxygen levels began to improve.
In fact, Annie was discharged from the hospital just five days after being treated without suffering any physical or cerebral injuries or memory loss.
The young girl then told her parents and the rest of the world what she had seen in what she thought was Heaven.
“I noticed colorful butterflies of all different hues. They weren’t just your typical, everyday colors, you know. You couldn’t even begin to imagine the colors. I simply felt it all around me and was filled with extreme joy and love.
In the pool, Annie also reported seeing a man in white aiding her, who she speculates was either Jesus or an angel.
The girl is okay today and content with her exceptional yet terrible experience.
