The impact of having an older sibling on younger siblings is significant.
According to a research titled “Sibling spillover effects in school achievement,” kids who have an older sibling who excels academically are likely to follow suit.
On the other hand, young children who have older siblings who exhibit bad habits could also develop those habits.
These ideas predict that this young child who appeared in a popular video will eventually turn out to be a “criminal” or incredibly kind, thanks to her big brother.
She didn’t want to spend the night alone, so he not only let her sleep in his bed but also assisted in getting her out of her cot.
He returned for her toy as well.
The entire endearing incident was documented on film. The young child can be heard asking for her sibling at the beginning of the video.
“Levi,” she says
“What,” he responds.
“I’m talking to you,” she explains.
“I got it. What are you… what?”
Then she says that she wants to lay down in his bed and that she’ll be bringing her doll.
Once more?” he asks. Let me think, please.
He quickly consents, but she quickly makes a new request.
“So, I want my binky,” she tells him. “I want my binky, Levi.”
She asked him if he could get the stool for her so that she could get down and he agreed.
So, he moved the stool and asked her if she needed help getting down.
