Sir Elton John says he has never felt better in his life, even though he is 75 years old.
The music legend is, eventually, going on his epic farewell tour after 52 years of making people happy on the road. Even though it’s his last time, he said he still has “plenty in the tank.”
Sir Elton said of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, “I really do think they’re up there with the best shows I’ve ever done.”
“Everyone has been stuck inside for a long time and hasn’t seen live music, so I think people are ready for it.”
“My fans have been so patient while waiting for these shows, so I’m determined to give them something really great. “It’s great that they’ve welcomed me with so much love and energy,” he told.
“Also, I’ve never felt fitter and in better shape. I play for more than 2.5 hours every night and still have so much more to give.”
Sir Elton went on to say that the shows are “poignant” because some of the places he will be visiting will be the last time.
His tour, which had to be put off because of Covid-19, started in June and will last until 2023.
In the middle of it, he played at BST Hyde Park in London, showing that he is still the best showman.
Fans were worried when they saw a picture of the father of two in a wheelchair, which led some to wonder about his health.
But after two sold-out shows in Germany, he later told the public that he was “in great health” and “playing and singing at my very best.”
He said, “The walk to the plane was very long, so my team was kind enough to lay on a wheelchair so I could rest my hip after the show.” All right, folks.”
