After being carried away by the current and falling over a waterfall with her cubs, a mother bear makes every attempt to rescue her cubs in this dramatic scene seen on camera. The terrifying event took place at Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park and Preserve, which is a particularly favorite spot for Alaskan bears, especially when salmon season begins. The scene is sure to have your pulse racing. A live wildlife cam that had been put up at the park was able to capture the event on camera.
The Katmai Park later published a brief video that shows the type of scene that every mother wishes would never happen. The mother bear had been looking forward to having some fresh fish for supper when all of a sudden, she was forced to watch as all three of her cubs were carried away by the swift currents of the river. In a matter of seconds, the defenseless cubs made their way down the waterfall. However, the situation became much more terrible when the baby bears drifted downstream along the river.
Thankfully, the watchful mother, who everyone in the area calls Grazer, rushes to the rescue just in time to save the day. At long last, she was successful in her mission to bring all of her young to the beach where they might be protected. You may see the spelctacular incident by clicking here:
