Tragedies occur on a daily basis. The problem is that most of the time there is nothing we can do to avoid them, so we have to face the heartbreaking fact that someone we really loved has passed away forever.
Adrian Smith, a parent, found out that his daughter had died in the most tragic manner imaginable.
Adrian was working as a fireman when he received a report about a three-vehicle incident in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales. In an effort to help the wounded passengers, he and his staff hurried to the site. Unfortunately, Adrian discovered at that time that his 21-year-old daughter Ella Brooke Smith had died in the crash. The remainder of the people who were engaged in the accident were injured.
This father’s heart shattered into a million pieces when he realized it was his daughter who died that day. His little baby was no longer with him; she had passed away, and he was left to face the pain and void that had filled his heart.
Adrian tweeted a picture of him and Ella dancing at a family event as a tribute to her life. “We are completely grieved at the loss of our precious Ella,” the father wrote. She was a cherished and devoted daughter, sister, and granddaughter.
“She was a lovely young lady who will be missed by all of us. We would want to express our gratitude to everyone for their support during this difficult period. As we mourn for Ella, it has meant so much to the whole family.”
Friends and family members sent messages of condolences for the death of the young girl, whose life was cut short much too soon.
“You have no idea how Adrian is feeling. Finding your own kid has been a victim is every emergency worker’s greatest fear. They are a wonderful family,” one of their friends said.
