Adele put on a prosthetic nose and chin to join a line-up of female impersonators auditioning for the role of Adele. No one suspected a thing when she purported to be a woman named Jenny. Until she started singing, the contestants had no idea who she was. They were all shocked and happy to meet the star herself when they discovered it was her.
2. Katy Perry
Katy Perry went undercover to kids’ birthday parties for the music video for her song “Birthday” and did some really strange stuff. She was costumed as a clown for a hidden-camera prank. She even pretended to hit someone with a piata stick at the celebration.
3. Matt Damon
Matt Damon came up with a unique way to generate money for charity. He prank-called fans and offered them an assignment a la Jason Bourne. They made individuals feel like they were in a spy movie by assigning them duties and missions as long as they trusted Damon.
4. Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato took a different approach to take a break from her tour. In Denver, she became a driver for the Lyft cab app. She made jokes about the Jonas Brothers and even performed a few songs from behind the wheel, but none of her passengers noticed or guessed who it was. When Demi’s identity was revealed, it came as a complete shock!
5. One Direction
One Direction chose to shock their fans in a big way. They posed as wax versions of themselves at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. When fans walked in to take pictures with the band’s wax statues, they got the shock of their lives when the miniatures sprang to life and showed themselves to be the boys themselves.
6. Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner
For this ultimate prank, the Kardashian sisters pulled out all the stops. They donned wigs and prosthetics and pretended to be utterly unidentifiable in order to take a Hollywood Tours ride one day. Khloé dressed up as a 79-year-old grandma from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and her ‘granddaughters’ were Kylie and Kendall (who wore a red wig and freckles). Their entire encounter was filmed on social media, and their entire family was in tears of laughter while watching it.
7. Seth Rogan
With the help of Ellen DeGeneres, Seth Rogan pulled off a terrific prank to promote a movie. Customers were extremely alarmed when they discovered concealed cameras in a supermarket store. Seth’s voice seemed to be speaking to consumers from the shelves as if he were discussing food. He had a lot of fun coming up with the joke and making the food say all kinds of strange things to people.
8. Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber also chose to offer one fan the talk of her dreams with him, but not in the way she thought, with the help of Ellen DeGeneres. He called her and mocked her, impersonating the head of the English department at her institution and speaking with an English accent. He purported to be phoning regarding classes she had missed and that he had her grades because she was a student. When Ellen revealed who it was, she couldn’t believe it.
