He told his mother things he could never have known.
A family’s lives would be permanently transformed in October of 1997. A sad turn of events tore them apart, but a mother and son saw a glimpse of heaven thanks to a miracle.
Julie Kemp and her family were traveling through the Mint-Hill Intersection on their way home when their car was hit by an ambulance.
The accident was fatal.
Julie’s husband’s seat slid backward, crushing the boy in the backseat. Landon, an eight-year-old boy, died at the time.
Or, at the very least, he was declared dead for a little moment. Landon was reanimated by first responders on the site.
It was his first time passing away.
Unfortunately, Landon began to lose control again on the way to Carolinas Medical Center. While they were rushing through traffic, he slipped to the other side once more.
He was resurrected, only to pass away again while in the hospital.
Landon’s story didn’t finish there, either.
The boy was successfully resurrected by doctors and medical personnel. However, losing his life numerous times on one occasion was risky.
Even if Landon survives the tragedy, Kemp explained in a video aired on CBN, his prospects of leading a regular life are limited.
We’d “live like an 8-year-old infant,” they told Kemp. He would have no idea how to do things like walk, talk, or eat.
Kemp was willing to take the risk since he didn’t want to lose Landon.
The youngster was in a coma for two weeks. But when he awoke, he stunned everyone by showing no signs of brain injury.
Unfortunately, his father was not one of them. Even so, Kemp had to tell his young son that his father would not be returning to them.
Landon’s response stunned her as she gathered her confidence to confront his reaction.
“I inquired of Landon. In the video, she says, “I said, ‘Do you know where your Dad is?'” “‘Yes, I know where he is… I saw him in Heaven,’ he said.”
Landon may have seen a peek of what lies beyond death while he was dead and asleep. And to show it, he revealed something that only his parents were aware of.
He reportedly informed Kemp that he had seen her with “two other kids.”
Kemp’s two miscarriages were described in Landon’s words. They had never told Landon about these incidents, so she was astonished that he was aware of them.
“Before me, my mother had two miscarriages that I had never known about or heard about,” Landon explained.
“They were visible to me.”
Despite the fact that Kemp had lost her children and husband, Landon assured her that they were safe.
Despite what his doctors predicted, Landon grew up to be a healthy young man. He has 23 metal plates in his skull, a reconstructed nose, and vision loss in his left eye.
Despite their wounds and scars, they were also given the opportunity to heal.
Kemp went on to write a book on her loss and Landon’s spiritual experience.
“I can thank God these days for giving me the strength to get through it,” Kemp said.
“When I was going through it, I didn’t see the strength — I saw the hurdles and the pain.”
