Meet Ray, a gorgeous Himalayan, and Bea, a Calico sweetie who is his sister-from-another-mister. They were taken to the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento.
When the two arrived at the shelter, rescuers discovered that they were both hungry, that Ray had major eye problems, and that he was blind in both eyes. Bea, for some reason, appears to comprehend Ray’s terrible life, so she follows him around and assists her blind companion. When they’re in new places, Ray knows he can count on Bea to guide him with her tail.
Ray’s eyes became Bea’s, and the two are always together. As a result, the shelter realized they were a bonded couple who would have to be adopted together, which was not easy because adopters only wanted to take Bea.
Six weeks have gone by, and this cute couple is still looking for a home. Potential adopters may be apprehensive about Ray’s eyesight, but everything will be OK with Bea by his side.
Ray and Bea’s tale was then shared on the Front Street Animal Shelter Facebook page in the hopes of finding them a home.
