Cats have their own unique ways of expressing their love and thanks for humans. If you have a cat or several cats, don’t be surprised if they bring you rats, cockroaches, or other objects as a gift because that’s how feline love works.
Esme, a wicked black cat from Beaverton, Oregon, has recently gone viral after her mother Kate Felmet revealed her illegal deeds to the entire globe.
For a while, the intelligent girl had been collecting masks, gloves, and everything else she could fit in her mouth from her neighbors’ garages and a nearby park. She was plainly pleased with herself, to be honest.
“When she brings them in, she yowls like ‘Wooooar!’ until I walk in and tell her she did a good job,” Kate explained.
Kate had no choice but to alert her neighbors about the cat’s thievery and hang Emse’s booties in her yard so people could come and recover their goods after Esme brought home too many silly objects.
She also made sure to post a placard detailing the entire story.
Kate claims that the lawbreaker was not pleased with her human’s decision.
“As soon as I put the signup, she stopped giving me anything for a week.” She said, “I received the idea she was a little enraged about it.”
To no one’s surprise, that amusing cat did not irritate many people. Instead, other people thought she was adorable.
“Most people come by to take pictures, but a school bus came by and took a few pairs of gloves,” Kate explained. “I’ve been considering making another sign that reads, “Take a pair of gloves if you want them,'” she says.
