Firefighters are true heroes since they are responsible for the lives of both humans and animals. As a result, in risky situations, they must always maintain calm and keep their nerves firmly in place to avoid making even the smallest error that could result in a fatality.
This does not, however, mean that they are devoid of emotions and sensations. In fact, they can get carried away and can’t hide their feelings at times.
This is the case of this Massa Carrara firefighter (Italy). He saw four newborn kittens trapped in a courtyard while on an assignment with his crew. He hastened to save the kittens and transport them to a safe location.
One of his coworkers filmed the final kitten’s rescue, recording a really emotional moment in which the firefighter cried with joy while cuddling the tiny kitten.
“I feel like sobbing, do you believe?” he informed his coworker. The video rapidly went viral after being shared on social media, and it captured the hearts of the Internet.
