The first bath is stressful for the kitty, so the dog takes measures… Watch the sweet video to see how he comforts his little friend…

Big dogs have a poor image of being harsh and frightening, yet many of them are genuinely lovely and friendly.

They get along with people of all shapes and sizes as well as other animals.

Ruby Jane, a 5-year-old Bloodhound, shows that he is a loving dog who adores everyone, including rescued kittens.

Stephanie Vice, a veterinary technician, and her husband, Matthew, frequently foster kittens at their Lakeland, Florida, home.

As a result, the rescue dog gets numerous opportunities to meet and live with foster pets. Jane, astonishingly, adores all of the kittens and looks after them as if she were their older sister.

Vice said, “Ruby Jane is a very playful dog who gets along well with all of the foster kittens.”

Ruby Jane has lived with over 100 different rescue kittens over the course of her life. She has, however, developed a strong attachment to Bodie, a 5-week-old American Wirehair kitten she rescued.

Despite the fact that Ruby Jane and Bodie are completely different creatures, they demonstrate that real friendship knows no bounds.

Bodie and his two siblings were brought home from the SPCA Florida no-kill shelter by Vice. The couple chose to foster the kittens until they were old enough to be adopted because they were so little.

Ruby Jane takes care of the kittens because they don’t have a mother. This was demonstrated in Stephanie’s latest video of the dog consoling Bodie during his anxious first wash last week.

Bodie is shivering while getting a bath, as you will see in the video. Fortunately, Ruby Jane is right there with him, consoling him throughout the ordeal.
