The man finds solace only in rescuing stray animals… Read on to know the touching reason and see his incredible work…

Life is unpredictably unexpected, and for some people, it may be incredibly painful. Take, for example, this New Yorker.

He was devastated when he lost his son in an accident and believed that his life would come to an end without him. The man, who was heartbroken and in pain, found solace in rescuing stray animals.

He’s a retired Long Island, New York train conductor who has already rescued over 300 animals. When he lost his 24-year-old son in a car accident, the adventure began.

The man found more than 30 sick kittens while wandering around his neighborhood one day. He helped them all, and it was the beginning of a wonderful voyage.

He converted his house into a cat sanctuary and has no plans to stop anytime soon. Chris chose the moniker Happy Cat for his shelter.

Chris intends to save at least twice as many animals as he has so far, with over 300 cats saved thus far. He believes that cats deserve a better life than the one they are now living on the streets.

His refuge has plenty of space for them to explore, as well as heated towering structures and everything else they’ll need to live comfortably.

We commend Chris’ decision and hope that others will follow in his footsteps and use their sadness in productive ways.
