The Southeastern Lion is another name for white lions. Because of their beautiful beauty, several tribes in Southern Africa worshipped them as sacred beings.
The Global White Lion Protection Trust recently reintroduced them in protected regions after they were hunted to extinction in the wild.

White lions were first sighted by Europeans in the Timbavati region of South Africa in 1938, but they were not formally documented until the 1970s. In South Africa, there are now 13 white lions in their natural habitats and 300 white lions in captivity.
