Dogs are more than just a man’s best companion. They’re extremely social and have the ‘ability’ to form true bonds with almost any species. Even if aliens visit Earth tomorrow, we’re sure there will be an adorable puppy to cuddle with them.
They’re also here to stay. While cats have a cooler personality, dogs have a strong desire to be at their friends’ sides at all times. Do you require additional proof? A dog refused to leave a burning house because it had four friends trapped inside, according to a video released recently.
Not long ago, Leo, the dog was caught in a home fire in Melbourne, Australia. The fire was reported, and firefighters arrived minutes later, finding Leo comatose on the floor. They had no idea why it wouldn’t leave the house, but when they raised him off the floor, they discovered it.
Underneath the Jack Russell mix were four helpless kittens. He laid on them to keep them safe, believing that he could keep them secure from the fire. If we had to grade him on courage and friendship, we’d give him an A+.
And if you’re wondering if the dog made it, you can be assured that he did. Apart from some much-needed oxygen, Leo is back to his old pranks. The four kittens should thank him because they would have been roasted alive if it hadn’t been for Leo.
