Cats are naturally curious, and while it can be unsettling to be constantly watched, it’s also comforting to know that at least one person finds your life totally intriguing.
This shop owner has fully embraced his cats’ cunning tendencies and has created a special feature for his store to provide the finest spying experience possible for his felines.
The owner has adapted the space above the shop’s ceiling into a little “attic” for his cats to hang out in.
What makes it unique is that he’s also replaced a few of the ceiling tiles with glass tiles, giving his cats a bird’s-eye view of the shop and everyone who works there.
The cats have full reign in the attic, where they can keep a close eye on everything that happens in the shop.
They’re like little fuzzy CCTV cameras, and they keep an eye on their surroundings to make sure no one is up to mischief while they’re watching.
The perspective from below is both amusing and unsettling, and we can only imagine the surprise that some unknowing customers must feel when they realize they are being observed.
After all, it’s not every day that you get the side-eye from a flying cat while shopping.
The cats only want one thing in return for their invaluable services as security devices: to be fed on time.
But, alas, their meals are often delayed by several seconds – or even minutes! – forcing them to ruin their home in order to teach their human a lesson.
It’s very understandable.
But, on the whole, this lovely little arrangement appears to be working out just well.
The shop is secure, the cats are content, the customers are…surprised, and Twitter and the rest of the internet are fascinated.
