Meet Lucy, a 2-year-old rescue who is undeniably a sweetheart.
Cherie Priest’s family in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has welcomed a new member.
Priest and her husband also have two cats, Spain The Cat and Quinn, and a 5-year-old mix named Grayson.
Lucy was adopted in August and has gotten along swimmingly with the rest of the multi-species team.
That is, until Saturday morning, when she was suddenly surrounded.
Completely surrounded, to be accurate.
“HELP!”
Priest said she captured the moment while putting her makeup on Saturday morning.
Lucy enjoys squeezing herself between the couch and ottoman for a little sleep, but she didn’t notice when the two cats surrounded her.
Priest explained, “She just sat up and realized they were there.”
It was all around her.
“She just has a wild look all the time,” Priest added, adding that she gets along well with the cats. “She appears to be wearing artificial googley eyes.”
Her eyes are a bright blue color, thus she can appear very expressive at times.
She described her as “the most expressive dog.”
And she doesn’t seem to take any BS from anyone.
Despite her surprised expression, Priest claims Lucy gets along well with her new family.
She gets along nicely with her canine and feline siblings, including Spain The Cat, who is 19 years old and the foursome’s alpha.
“Lucy is a sweetheart,” Priest remarked, “and she’s really gentle.”
And she’s a lovely young lady.
