After his student owner sneaked the moggie into class in China, the cat is doing his best to avoid getting detected.
The one-year-old Munchkin cat, which is noted for its small legs, is seen gently lying inside the desk and glancing around, as if attempting to hide from the professor, according to viral footage.
Ms. Wen, the cat’s owner, told that she had to bring her cat to class because he wouldn’t allow her to leave the house without him.
On Friday morning, the university student from Xi’an, in northwestern China, was getting ready for class when her cat, Ba Dun, began snuggling up to her.
Ms. Wen told, “Ba Dun kept cuddling up to my leg and seemed so sad because he wanted me to stay with him.”
“However, I was late for class.” I couldn’t stand letting him down, so I brought him to class with me,” she continued.
Ms. Wen filmed the adorable picture as Ba Dun is seen lying obediently, obviously trying his best to keep under the radar, after hiding the Munchkin inside her desk.
“He was really quiet and didn’t make any noises,” said the owner.
According to Ms. Wen, Ba Dun, whose name loosely translates as “eight dinners,” was given the odd name because of his large appetite.
“If I let him, he could easily eat eight meals a day.”
The lecturer did not notice anything weird at the time, thanks to Ba Dun’s undercover skills, and only found out when the video went viral.
Ms. Wen published the video on the Chinese TikTok-like Douyin on Sunday, and it quickly racked up over 300 million views.
