After multiple photographs of Bertie the cat making the saddest looks about being “excluded from supper,” the online community fell in love with him.
K. Cooper, Bertie’s owner, said the beloved cat has been staying with her parents while she is relocating. They decided to send her regular updates and images because she had been missing him so much.
His father started sending her daily images of Bertie staring longingly at the dinner table.
Cooper stated on Twitter, “My folks constantly sending me images of my cat looking disappointed that he isn’t invited to dinner.”
“I generally don’t let him near me when I eat,” Cooper remarked, “so they’re getting him into terrible habits!” He can’t consume human meals or treats because he has IBS. But, bless him, he simply has a very expressive face.”
Bertie has been with his grandparents since November and will see his mother again in March.
His wistful looks have a cult following on the internet! Many individuals can connect to Bertie’s mournful expression while he stares at the forbidden drink.
“He fixed him up a special dish tonight,” Cooper said after telling her father that his images had gone viral.
