Not all shelter cats are broken; this is the story of one of them.
It all began when rescuers received a report about a litter of kittens found in a yard. Three litters were spotted stranded in some bushes when they arrived on the scene.
The rescuers did an amazing job, and nine kittens were saved on that fateful day.
One of the abandoned litter found under a bush was this lovely black and white kitten.
They were quickly placed into the care of PACT (People and Cats Together), who saw that he was different from his siblings and that something was wrong.
Unfortunately, he was born with a neurological abnormality that prevented him from walking normally. Unfortunately, there is no cure. Thumper was his name.
We follow Thumper’s growth as he overcomes his disease in this heartwarming video.
This happy, loving feline learns to walk with the help of a wheelchair and lots of attention and love from his caregivers.
