Elliot, a 9-year-old tabby cat, has been at the shelter for three months and is looking for a forever home. When no one wants to adopt him because he is continuously sneezing, the rescue team at Elliot’s Cats Protection Center in East Sussex, England, are concerned.
He was a stray before coming to the center, and a Good Samaritan arrived to give him a loving home. Unfortunately, his new owners discovered they were allergic to him, forcing them to surrender him to the shelter.
Elliot, a tabby cat, suffers from chronic rhinitis, which has caused him some minor health difficulties. He has a runny nose and is congested, so he is always sneezing.
“Elliott is obviously snuffly, and his condition indicates that the bones in his nose have been damaged,” she remarked. “However, he is a pleasant, affectionate chap, and this does not disturb him.”
He is a nice cat who enjoys being cuddled. He may spend the entire day on your lap and adores children. He doesn’t see himself as any different than the other cats at the shelter. As a result, he is patiently awaiting the opportunity to be a perfect pet.
Elliot’s sneezing fits haven’t stopped the center from hunting for a potential adoption who will be able to overlook his sneezing fits and provide him with the loving home he needs.
