The love of a mother knows no bounds. Whether the mother is human, winged, or furry with four legs, her love for her children has no bounds.
Dongsuk, a stray mama cat, is one such example. A caring woman from the neighborhood where Dongsuk sought refuge had been feeding the stray cat on a regular basis.
But, over time, the woman discovered something peculiar about Dongsuk…
She would walk right by if the food was placed on a plate in front of her, no matter how hungry she was. If the meal was in a plastic baggie, however, Dongsuk would gladly accept the item and flee.
So whenever the woman fed the neighborhood’s stray cats, she made sure to save one particular baggie for Dongsuk. The woman’s interest piqued after a time.
She decided to investigate one day and followed the cat. Dongsuk wasn’t taking the baggie for himself, but rather to feed her darling kitten, the woman learned.
Dongsuk had recently given birth to a litter of five kittens, but only one survived due to an unfortunate accident. Momma and this kitten were both orange tabbies.
Dongsuk opened the sack of food for her infant and left it there for her to satisfy her hungry belly first, the woman watched. The woman realized she had to act after seeing how sweet and protective this mama cat was of her lone surviving kid.
What this stranger provides for these two wild creatures gives them a fighting chance at a happy and healthy existence.
