As children, we all had favorite toys that went through a lot of wear and tear as we grew older. It was the same for this small guy. When one of his toys became injured, the observant cat observed as granny performed surgery on his beloved toy with bated breath!

Lucas was a sweet kitten who had a lot of toys over the years, but he only had one that he was truly bonded to. “I got the toy and a few other stuffed animals from my local zoo,” Lucas’ mother, Alana, explained.

“He normally ignores my stuffed animals, but he wouldn’t do so with this one.” His attachment grew stronger as he grew older. “He’d go insane over this one,” Alana predicted. “I’d discover it smeared in cat spit in all kinds of strange places.”

Alana’s grandma moved back in with the family last year, and she fell in love with Lucas right away. When Alana’s grandma found Lucas’s stuffed snow leopard in such bad shape, she tried to fix it.

Alana explained, “He’s had this toy for maybe four years, and it ripped due to wear and tear.” “Last year, my grandmother moved in with us and adores Lucas. [She] noticed that his favorite toy had been damaged and put it back together for him “Alana clarified.

She went on to say, “Then there’s this,” she added “He sat and watched the entire time. He was simply interested in what she was doing.” Lucas peered at the needle and thread as he watched Grandma “operate” on his pal. He sat there patiently the entire time.

Lucas’ human grandmother showed him his gift when she was fully ready. Lucas was overjoyed! The cat’s favorite toy was ultimately returned to him, and he was once again able to carry it around and put it in strange places throughout the home.
