A woman finds a fox in her cat’s bed and gets astonished by its behaviour…

When George, a ginger cat, returned from a walk in the garden, he discovered that his bed had been taken over by a stranger.

“I took a double-take when I came downstairs and walked past the kitchen into the bathroom because I could see a set of gigantic ears in the kitchen window,” George’s owner, Meloney Blayze, 47, said. “‘I turned on the light to see what was in the cat’s bed – and it was a fox,” I thought, “well, those aren’t the cat’s ears.”

Meloney had gotten up at 4 a.m. to let George out of the kitchen window and into the garden, but the fox had crept in after she’d returned to sleep and taken over the cat bed. When George returned, he tried hissing to scare the strangeo away, but the fox didn’t even move until Meloney scooped up the bed and tipped the fox out the window.

“He was quite calm and didn’t want to leave,” she explained. Given the bitter weather in the UK at the present, some argue that she should have allowed him to stay rather than ordering him out. Let us know what you think in the comments!

When George returned from his garden walk, he discovered a fox had taken up residence in his bed. The fox had crept in and began “acting like another member of the family who had been there for years and was perplexed by all the commotion.”

“I stared at him, and he stared back. Meloney Blayze, the cat’s owner, recalled, “He wasn’t afraid of me at all.”

George hissed at it, but it didn’t move until Meloney, the cat’s owner, shooed it out the window.
