This cat was locked up in a bird cage his entire life… Read on to know how he finally found a loving family…

Furry Nation Salvation, a cat rescue organization, received reports that a cat was being forced to live in horrific conditions. The cat had spent her entire life outside in a birdcage. A rescue crew was dispatched to the scene after learning of her predicament.

When the team got to the location, they went straight to a little, filthy birdcage. When the rescuers discovered a flea-infested ginger tabby cat with no clean place to rest, they couldn’t believe their eyes.

The team scooped her up right away and bathed her to get rid of the fleas. She would only walk a short distance before sitting down. She can’t walk or move too far because she was raised in a birdcage and isn’t used to having the freedom to wander.

They took her to a clinic where she could obtain all of the therapies she required. The vet discovered that the cat had bladder, upper respiratory, and skin diseases as a result of her living situation.

Tonja Heer of Furry Nation Salvation said, “Once we got her home, she got a flea bath and a dose of flea preventative on.” “She purred quite loudly, like a dove, while my 2-year-old held her as she dried.”

Holly Peppermint, the rescued cat, was given loving care by the rescuers. She began to heal after realizing she was finally protected. Thankfully, her tale was shared on Facebook, and a woman called Caril Whiting offered to adopt her.

Holly has been adopted for four years, and we are delighted to report that she enjoys a wonderful life and is surrounded by affection. Holly has found the right home and the best friends she genuinely deserves, no longer a nameless cat imprisoned in a birdcage.
