When you’re behind the wheel and focused on driving, seeing an animal lying in the middle of the road might be terrifying. When confronted with such a situation, you never know what to expect, so keep your cool and examine the situation carefully!
When a group of friends stumbled across a baby deer lying in the middle of the road, they simply pulled over and did the most adorable thing. Steve Knopp was traveling through a wooded area with his friends when he discovered the little creature. The fawn was still, and the men had no means of knowing whether or not she was still alive. He couldn’t just drive past and ignore the fawn, though.
Rather, one of Steve’s buddies, Paul, got out of the car and approached the befuddled fawn. The man noticed the unfortunate animal was still alive when he came near. Barely! He even examined it, and the newborn deer showed no signs of injury, so Paul assumed it was just tired and terrified. Then he discovered the tiny one’s mother was standing in the forest, watching.
It’s when Paul has carefully picked up the deer and carried it to the side of the road for safety. The worried mother approached her kid shortly after, and the two were reunited. It’s all because of this good Samaritan. One of Steve’s pals captured the wonderful rescue on camera. It’s available to watch in the video below!
