Renee Soucy goes on to relate how she came upon this adorable fur-baby:
“We discovered him in a garden, stuck under a three-day-old fire. He was weeping and barely moving, and his fur and whiskers were charred. We hurried him to an animal emergency clinic that was open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We got him when he was about 6 weeks old.”
Things didn’t appear to be looking up for this fur-baby, but he was given antibiotics and pain medicine. Renee, on the other hand, was not ready to quit up!
“I knew he’d be fine after the first night.” Throughout the night, he slept and ate.”
It didn’t take long for us to realize what a cute little fluff ball he was, and how fearless he was!”
“He was always on the move and looking for new things. He’s not afraid of bigger cats, heights, or stairwells. Renee said, “He’s very brave, and he’s his own little person who lives every day to the fullest.”
“He’s our little trooper,” says the narrator.
Little Ember, who was called after the fire in which he was discovered, now has a long and happy life ahead of him!
