Magda and her friend Manu were on a cycling trip when the incident occurred. They were both starving by the time they reached the next town, so they began looking for a place to eat as soon as they arrived.
While they were eating their lunch on the sidewalk, they were approached by a tiny little kitten who was meowing at them. Because she appeared to be in need of food, they decided to give her some.
Both of them felt pity for her because she appeared to be completely alone in the world and was going through a tough time. Their feelings were that they needed to do something for the kitty, and they had no choice but to bring her along with them.
They had become completely smitten with the little kitty, and they were looking forward to this new chapter in their adventure as much as they could.
The blanket they used to make it comfortable and safe was fashioned into a sort of hammock for her in the handlebar bag. It didn’t take long for the kitten to relax and enjoy the ride after she had her doubts at first.
The next morning, when it was time to set up camp for the night, she had no problem joining the girls in their tent. Because Icky is the
word for two in their language, which corresponded to the number of sausages she consumed that evening, they decided to name her Icky.
In fact, when they weren’t on the road or in the tent, Icky would go along with the two girls wherever they went, and she was quite content with her new life. It was incredibly comforting to finally feel loved.
They were now on their way to Baku, where they decided to seek medical attention for Icky and make a decision about his future. They hoped that they would be able to find someone who would be interested in adopting her.
