Guinness was the smallest of his litter when he was born.
His mother thought he wouldn’t survive because he was so small and frail, so she rejected him.
Guinness, on the other hand, was determined to live, and with a little aid, he was able to thrive.
Beth Walden, an animal rescuer from Florida, agreed to provide Guinness with the attention he need and to assist him in growing strong and healthy.
She was taken aback by his diminutive stature when she first met him; he was three weeks old yet appeared to be a newborn.
Guinness was little enough to fit in the palm of Walden’s hand, and he required constant attention.
Despite his small size and dependence, he had a strong spirit and was willing to fight for his life.
But he needed Walden’s cooperation to accomplish this. And she was more than happy to hand it on to him.
As he struggled to latch onto and suckle from a syringe, Walden gave him formula one drop at a time and tried everything she could to help him flourish.
She cared for the kitten at all hours of the day and night, hoping with all her heart that he would be able to develop and thrive.
Guinness was gradually gaining strength and moving away from death, but Walden was still concerned about the little cat.
Guinness had gotten a bad eye infection, and she was terrified that it would ruin his eyes permanently.
Guinness’ health continued to improve, and it became evident that the little cat would make it.
Guiness was strong enough to suckle formula from a syringe after some time, and the hungry little kitten drank and drank until his little belly was full and warm.
Guinness adored Walden with all of his heart, and whenever he finished a meal, he would nestle up in his lap and slumber.
Walden’s affection for the tiny cat grew stronger and stronger, and he could melt anyone’s heart with a single glance.
Guinness grew in size and strength, but he was still quite small for his age.
His lovely eyes, on the other hand, were anything but little.
Guinness dazzled Walden with his huge eyes once he recovered from his eye ailment.
Guinness’ eyes appeared unnaturally deep and large in comparison to his tiny body, like two tranquil lakes.
Walden introduced Guinness to her own kitty, Mr. Tiny-Pants, when he was healthy and old enough.
Mr. Tiny-Pants has taken his duty as a role model extremely seriously as the older cat rapidly became Guinness’s number one hero.
He’s always watching out for Guinness and teaching him everything he knows about being a cat.
Guinness can now do a variety of “big cat” things, such as use the litter box and eat solid food.
Guinness may be little for his age, but his tiny frame is brimming with enthusiasm, vitality, and zest for life.
He’s a naughty little rascal who enjoys playing practical jokes on his family.
He also enjoys snuggling up to Walden and drifting off to sleep while feeling protected and cherished.
Walden said, “He enjoys caressing his face on plush blankets.”
Guinness has come a long way since his days as an unwell newborn, and he’s certainly destined for a long, joyful, and adventurous life.
