Moonglade Rose, an animal rescuer, returned home one night with a new rescue cat named Opie.
She wasn’t sure how her cat Andy would react to the newcomer at first, but as soon as he sensed Opie’s presence, he ran over and gave her the nicest greeting she’d ever had. Andy made Opie feel at ease by showering him with hugs and kisses.
Andy never left Opie’s side that night, and he resolved to guard and protect him like a big brother. Andy’s owners were taken aback by his reactions, and they couldn’t be more grateful to have a cat who loves as much about rescue kittens as his humans do.
“Andy has been teaching his sibling about the litter box, how to land on his feet, how to hunt and play, but most importantly, how to cuddle,” Moonglade said.
Opie is a rescue kitten who has recently joined Moonglade’s family.
Andy, the resident cat, greeted Opie with the warmest of hugs. He appeared to be wishing him well in his new house.
That night, he never left Opie alone, and he guarded him as a big brother would.
Andy became Opie’s brother from another mother, and he quickly felt at ease.
Andy’s love for a fellow rescue cat astounded his humans.
“Andy has been teaching his sibling about the litter box, how to land on his feet, how to hunt and play, but especially how to cuddle,” says Andy. Moonglade
They enjoy cuddling and always make their owners happy.
Andy used to cuddle with his mother all the time before Opie arrived.
But now that Opie is with them, he feels obligated to look after the baby and give him all the care he needs.
Andy takes great care of him, grooming him, cuddling him, and lavishing him with affection.
“Opie appears to have faith in me, and he continues falling asleep on me.” Little man is little enough to fit in the palm of my hand. Andy, on the other hand, adores him.”
Moonglade considers herself fortunate to have such happy boys as part of her family after only a few months.
