The artist is a very special 5-year-old British kid with autism who has been diagnosed. Thula, a sweet and gorgeous Main Coon cat, serves as her inspiration for her artwork. It would be an understatement to say that these two are inseparable.

She is passionate about art, and her paintings are nothing short of masterpieces. Her art is abstract, bright, and well-balanced in terms of tone and sequencing. This is proof that nothing, including Autism, can or should prevent a youngster from aspiring and dreaming.

This young one has realized her dream of being an artist, and the possibilities for her talent are endless.

Iris’ lovely paintings are purchased by individual art buyers all around the world. Her family utilizes the proceeds from the paintings to pay for therapy and art supplies, as well as to increase autism awareness.

Anxiety was one of Iris’ daily challenges with autism. She was uncomfortable in social situations. As a result, her mother believed that having a caring animal companion would be beneficial and relaxing.

Iris’ mother, Arabella, said she was told not to have a therapy animal, but after doing some research on autism, she discovered a wealth of material about the positive effects that animals can have on autistic children. “We took Iris to equestrian therapy,” Arabella explained, “but she didn’t seem really interested in horses at the time.” Then I considered getting a therapy dog.”

Thula, Maine Coon, was purchased by Iris’ parents two years ago. Since then, she has begun to speak, which the doctors predicted would never happen.

“Thula has lessened Iris’ everyday anxiety and kept her peaceful,” Arabella added, “but it has also had the consequence of pushing her to be more social.” “She’s been by Iris’ side since she arrived, sleeping in her arms her first night.” Iris is greatly influenced by Thula’s frequent presence and loving nature.” Thula will sit next to Iris and imitate her movements on a daily basis.

Iris and Thula’s bond is built on companionship rather than the typical child behavior of picking up, stroking, or chasing cats. Thula has not been trained to be a therapy or service cat. But, because she was adopted at such an early age, she has become accustomed to numerous things that typical cats would find revolting. Thula, for example, wears a harness for the majority of her activities, including vehicle rides, boat rides, and bike rides.

“When Iris was reading at her books,” Arabella explains, “she would softly stroke Thula’s ears and long whiskers, or hold her tail at the tip, nonchalantly twiddling with the fur as if it were her own.”

Thula continues to have a strong influence on Iris’s work today. Because her paintings are critically appreciated, she sells them for several thousand dollars each.

In the book “Iris Grace,” her mother tells the extraordinary story of Iris’s skill and particular friendship with Thula. Here’s a link to further information: Iris Grace is a fictional character. Please share this with your friends!
