After being rescued from the streets by police officers, a little abandoned puppy was overjoyed. Mercado and Tavera, two dedicated policemen from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division, were patrolling the streets of Los Angeles when they came upon a little dog on Hobart Boulevard. The puppy had been dumped on the streets, alone and without someone to look after him.
When the small creature saw two cops, he knew they would be able to help him. He hurriedly pursued them down the street, looking for help. To gain their attention, he trotted after them and cried charmingly. The two cops realized at that point that they couldn’t resist the poor little sweetie.
They grabbed the puppy right away and drove him to their police car. He couldn’t stop snuggling and looking with admiration at the policemen on the way there. His small heart was overflowing with gratitude for his saviors.
The dog was taken to the police station, where he was treated with kindness and care by kind policemen. They chose to call him Hobart after the place where they first discovered him.
Everyone agreed to give Hobart up to a shelter to find him a new home since he was plainly longing for someone to love and protect him. Mercado, on the other hand, decided to adopt him in the end. He wanted to make him the happiest dog on the planet.
We are relieved to learn that Hobart is reunited with his loving owner. He now has a happy home and a loving father, which he deserves after all that has gone through.
