And that’s exactly what these two small kittens did when they were all alone in the world with nothing to cling to but each other.
Bane and Ines were discovered alone on the street, without even a mother to provide them with care and safety.
The little kittens clung to one other, terrified of losing their only source of stability in life: each other.
The kittens were taken to Chatons Orphelins Montreal by the rescuers in order for them to receive some much-needed medical care.
Fleas and other parasites infested the kittens, who were only five weeks old. They’d been through a lot in their short lives, but things were finally beginning to look up for them.
The kittens got stronger and healthier with each passing day as the effort to nurse them back to health was effective.
They were placed in a foster home and quickly proved to be happy, friendly cats that quickly warmed up to both other cats and humans.
Despite the fact that they made a lot of new acquaintances, no connection could ever compare to Bane and Ines’ bond.
They never wanted to be separated from each other, even in their new, happy lives.
They had become inextricably linked.
Ines and Bane were subsequently adopted as a couple as a result of their lovely friendship, and they got to live happily ever after in their forever home.
The loving couple made it out the other end by holding on to one other during the dark times and ultimately got to share the experience of true happiness, comfort, and safety.
