Ludo is not just the world’s largest Maine Coon, but also the world’s largest house cat.
He is their giant fluffy bodyguard and adores his human family.
Ludo is a Wakefield, England-based 3-year-old Maine Coon.
He was the biggest kitten in the litter when he was a kitten. Many people who encountered Ludo as a kitten couldn’t believe he was a kitten since he was so huge!
Ludo weighed in over 20½ lbs before his first birthday!
On October 6th, 2015, he was declared the World’s Longest Domestic Cat by Guinness World Records, measuring 118.33cm (3 foot 10.59 inch).
He’s currently weighing 34 lbs!
Ludo epitomizes the term “gentle giant.” He enjoys keeping an eye on and guarding his human family.
He’s been protective of his human family since he was a kitten, and he and his other younger brother, Cameron, have become closest friends.
“Ludo is usually by his side, thick as thieves.”
He’s keeping an eye on his small human sibling, Ryder.
Kelsey told Love Meow, “He’s really nice, he’s a big softy, he’s like a giant teddy bear, very chilled disposition.”
Ludo kept him company the entire time while he wasn’t feeling well.
“He enjoys being close to both of our boys as if he’s keeping an eye on them.”
Ludo grew in size as Cameron did.
These two have a particular connection!
Best friends!
They also have two more cats at home. Arwen, a 10-pound calico, adores snuggling with Ludo and giving him baths.
Look at how tiny Arwen is in comparison to Ludo!
Krum, a 14lb Maine Coon, is also a Maine Coon. However, he is still barely half the size of Ludo.
Ludo is the lord of the mansion. The silent guardian. And his entire family adores him!
