It’s a heartwarming picture to see a deer rescuing her baby who is afraid and caught in the middle of the road. The kind mother convinced the deer, and as a consequence, she was able to persuade and soothe her cub, after which mother and cub vanished into the bushes.
This scene was seen by a driver, who was even able to record it on his phone. He later shared it on his social media profile, and the post quickly went viral.
Jessie Larson was travelling along the Port Orchard Highway in Washington at the time and happened to come upon the animal. The lady first felt the deer was in danger and was going to walk out to help the baby-deer. However, after just a few seconds, she observed the mother-deer coming and began capturing the scene she was seeing.
Mom approached the terrified baby with extreme caution. When Jessie saw the deer, she instantly shut off the automobile motor to avoid frightening the animals.
Then something extraordinary happened: mother gently caressed her cub, who was still confused, in an attempt to convince him. And she succeeded: the cub quickly climbed to its feet and followed its mother.
Jessie stood there for a long time watching them walk away, surprised at the level of awareness and affection for animals. After all, mommy is always mommy, whether she’s a deer or not.
