Whitney’s service dog recently warned her to something unusual in the woods.
Banner took Whitney away from the home to a secluded location where they discovered a sealed cardboard box.
Inside, there was a tragic sight: seven abandoned kittens that were only a day old.
“It’s likely that someone just threw them in a cardboard box, locked the top tightly, and walked away.”
“They were probably under the impression that no one would ever locate them.” I’m not sure how Banner was aware of their presence in the area. “The kittens were cold and making no noise at all.”
“It makes me sick to my stomach that someone could do such a cruel thing to these little, helpless creatures. “It’s very harsh and ruthless.”
Banner has not left the kittens’ side since that time, treating them as if they were her own children.
“I’ll now locate the kittens suitable homes where they will be loved and cared for for the rest of their lives.”
“I’m overjoyed that, as a result of Banner’s efforts, these kittens will be able to live out their lives with loving homes.”
