Jessica Parken and her fiancé Andy recently assisted in the adoption of a kitten. They were out and about and decided to go see some animals at the local shelter. They were looking at puppies, birds, and various varieties of fish, but a few cats drew their attention as cat aficionados. Jessica scooped up a cat to snuggle with and say goodbye to before leaving the store, but the cat wouldn’t let go.
The lovely guy wrapped his arms around her neck as soon as she attempted to return him to his cage. Jessica was upset since he was clearly asking to return home with them. “He was only here for two weeks, and he doesn’t seem to get along well with children or other animals.” “Clutch” will undoubtedly be his name because he grasped my hand when I tried to put him down,” she stated. Her eyes welled up with tears as she said goodbye to the cat, and she knew what was coming next.
“When I attempted to put him back in his place, he genuinely clutched onto me, causing me to cry a few tears. His absence from my home was a source of great sadness for me…”
Because Jessica and Andy have a toddler at home as well as an 18-year-old cat, they were unable to accommodate Clutch in their home. Instead, they were able to place him with a family. It was Jessica who shared a video of the cat refusing to be put down in the hopes that they could find him a new home. Clutch was quickly embraced once the video went viral, and the company was poised to capitalize on the success.
After returning to the shelter, there were lines of people waiting to take Clutch into their hearts and homes. Clutch had a lucky day when he was adopted by a new family.
