T’challa is a wildcat, but he has a soft spot in his heart for an unusual cuddling buddy.
Wildcats aren’t known for their vegetarianism.
Juniper Russo of the animal rescue organization For Fox Sake Wildlife, who looks after T’challa, never bothered to bring vegetables to the small one’s habitat.
T’challa yelled out loud as Russo passed the bobcat’s enclosure with a giant box of vegetables, and he wanted some too!
“I handed him a fennel bulb, expecting him to realize he didn’t really want it,” Russo explained.
It was a whole different experience. Instead of being horrified, the cute cat hugged the bulb and even brought it to bed with him.
That’s when the cuddling started.
It never occurred to the cuddly cat to bite her newest favorite toy in a million years.
Meanwhile, Russo and T’challa have developed an endearing ritual out of the one-time encounter.
She gives Russo some fennel whenever he walks by his habitat with a bowl of vegetables.
