Davey the kitten was discovered paralyzed with a broken spine on the side of the road in Florida.
Nobody knew if the kitten would ever be able to walk again.
Thankfully, he was accepted by Caring Fields Felines, a sanctuary, and rescue group with a caring staff dedicated to making sure he was well taken care of.
“During this period, he accompanied me to and from work and home every day,” Danica told.
“He was up and walking in a few days after his cast was removed.”
“He needs to catch up on his kitty time.”
Aside from Davey’s physical recuperation, the mending phase provided Danica with just enough time to fall hopelessly in love with the kitten.
Danica ultimately decided to adopt Davey on a permanent basis.
She has since called the kitty Beans, because of the fact that he resembled a bean-filled tortilla when in his cast.
Most importantly, Beans is now up and roaming around like any other healthy kitten, and he adores his new forever family.
